Kindergarten rodeo to be named after Quail Dobbs

April 2, 2014

COAHOMA — Quail Dobbs’ legacy will be alive and well Friday when the memory of the well-known professional rodeo clown and Coahoma leader is honored during the annual Coahoma kindergarten stick horse rodeo, scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. in the elementary gymnasium.

“We’ve changed the name of the rodeo this year to the Quail Dobbs Legacy Coahoma Kindergarten Rodeo to honor him in this way,” said Coahoma ISD kindergarten teacher Natalie Rochelle.
