LaDell Musgrove

LaDell Musgrove, 73, of Big Spring, died Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at her residence. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 4, 2012, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with the Revs. Jim Wilkerson and Pat Ray Jr. officiating.

She was born June 11, 1938, in Boswell, Okla. and married Thomas Jerry Musgrove Sr. Jan. 15, 1954 in Big Spring. He preceded her in death Feb. 23, 2009.

LaDell owned and operated Dell's Cafe for 14 years, from 1974 to 1989. She was a great mother and grandmother. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Tom Musgrove and wife, Liz of Big Spring; one daughter, Susan Palmer of Big Spring; four grandchildren, Lochie Darling of Salado, Jacqueline Riley of Coahoma, and Brionna Palmer and Kylie Palmer, both of Big Spring; two great-grandchildren, Lily Sage Riley and Kelli Jo Darling; two brothers-in-law, Joe Don Musgrove of Big Spring and Mike Musgrove of Marble Falls; and special friends, Van and Barbara Lewis of Lingleville.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Sage and Muriel Johnson; and one sister, Barbara Jean Johnson.
