Lady Steers netters honored in District 5-3A

After a very successful season, the Lady Steers' volleyball team received some great news. Nine players from the team were recognized for their performance during the season with district honors.

Cerbi Ritchey was named to the All-Region team, as well as being dubbed District 5-3A Hitter of the Year. Carson Reibe was named District 5-3A Defensive Player of the Year.

First Team All-District honors went to Taylor Seaton, Morgan Seaton and Diamond Mayes, while Clara Benavides, Logan Yarbar and Julianna Rodriquez were named to the Second Team All-District team. Haley Dimidjian was given Honorable Mention.

The Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) has not announced the selections to the All-State team or the All-Star team as of Tuesday.
