Down two sets to none, Big Spring showed grit and toughness battling back to beat district-foe Snyder in five sets.

The Lady Steers committed mental errors early, but looked sharper and more fierce as the game wore on. The game seemed almost reminiscent of their five-set loss to Levelland on Saturday, but the girls would not be denied a victory.

"That last game hurt and I told them I need to see some character," head coach Lynn Osborne said. "They were tough and weren't gonna let this one slip away as well."

Check out the full game recap in Wednesday's edition of the Herald.
