Leo Edward Frank

Leo Edward Frank, 93, of Big Spring, died Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 in a local hospital. By Leo's request, no services are planned.

Leo was born April 21, 1920, in Rib Lake, Wisc., and married Alberta Sherrell March 17, 1946, in Loraine, Texas. She preceded him in death Oct. 14, 2008. Leo was an aircraft engine mechanic instructor and was stationed at Webb Air Force Base in Big Spring.

He is survived by one son, Craig Frank of Big Spring; one daughter, Melissa Henry and husband, David, of Conroe; two sisters, Lucella Formella and Donna Sauer; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, Ferdinand and Edith (Gerstberger) Frank; one brother, Ervin Frank; and two sisters, Isabel Bleck and Erma Vlach.
