A Big Spring teen was arrested and charged with indecency with a child – sexual contact Saturday evening after law enforcement officers discovered a female victim under the age of 17 at his home, according to arrest records.
Andres Reyes Perches III, 17, was arrested Saturday night by the Howard County Sheriff's Office on a charge of indecency with a child – sexual contact after law enforcement officers discovered Perches “in contact” with the female at his home.
According to Sheriff Stan Parker, Perches was taken into custody at the scene and shortly after booked into the Howard County Jail.
“The Sheriff's Office received a call from the north part of the county,” Parker said. “We found him (Perches) in contact with the victim — a female under the age of 17 years — at a location that was later determined to be Perches' home.
“Perches was taken into custody and booked into the Howard County jail on a charge of indecency with a child – sexual contact, and the victim was turned over to her parents.”
Parker said a runaway report had not been filed on the female victim and declined to comment further on the relationship between the girl and Perches.
