Lockhart wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Clint Lockhart

Alyson Ruth Evans of Lubbock and Clint Matthew Lockhart of Big Spring exchanged wedding vows Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 7 p.m. in a candlelight ceremony at the First Baptist Church in Big Spring with Brother Mark Lindsey officiating.
The bride is the daughter of John and Denise Evans of Lubbock. Her paternal grandparents are Joyce Evans of Odessa and the late John Richard Evans. Her maternal grandparents are the late Lary and Ruth Clark.
The groom is the son of Jack and Tammy Lockhart of Big Spring. His paternal grandparents are Jeanie Lockhart of McKinney and the late Tom Lockhart. His maternal grandparents are Dale and Elizabeth Worthan of Big Spring and the late Gayle Worthan.
The bride, given away by her father John, wore an ivory organza bridal gown from David’s Bridal Collection that featured a strapless bodice with subtle ruching and ruffled trim, an empire waist with beautiful beaded detail and elegant lace that embellished the form fitting skirt and cascaded down the chapel length train.
Kara Purschwitz, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Morgan Metcalf, cousin of the groom and Casey Brazell.
Clay Lockhart, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jordan Hitt and Ryan Fish. Ushers were Landon Boeker and Kie Jones. Guest greeter was Jake Evans, cousin of the bride.
A reception was held following the ceremony at the Hardware Store in historic downtown Big Spring. The house party included Angela Crouch, cousin of the bride and Sonya Metcalf, aunt of the groom.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Frenship High School and is a psychology major at Wayland Baptist University in Plainview. The groom is a 2008 graduate of Forsan High School and is a music education major at Wayland Baptist University in Plainview.
Following a honeymoon in San Antonio the couple has made their home in Plainview.
