Lonnie Ferrell Anderson, 70, of Coahoma died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, at the Coahoma Church of Christ with Eddy Pitchford officiating.
The family will receive friends following the services.

Lonnie was born March 9, 1941, in Big Spring to Luther and Vera (Neal) Anderson and married Mary Kiser on Oct. 7, 1960, in Coahoma. Together, they owned and operated the Little Sooper Market in Coahoma. He was a member of Coahoma Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Anderson of Coahoma; two daughters, Shana Blagrave and husband Doug of Ackerly and Kelley Hankins and Jim Pearce of Big Spring; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, James "Buddie" Anderson of Coahoma; and two sisters, Phyllis Scroggins of Big Spring and Wanda Davis of Cheyenne, Wyo.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Vera Dell Anderson; one brother, Wendell Joe Anderson; one sister, Linda Dell Anderson; and one grandson.
