Loyce Ballard, age 79, of Snyder, Texas, died Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder, Texas after a lengthy illness.

Services for Mrs. Ballard will be held Friday, July 6, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church with Pastor Nicky Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Sping under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ballard was born July 16, 1932 in Big Spring, Texas to Corbet and Mary Lee (Mosely) Lawdermilk. She married Lloyd D. Ballard on Jan. 20, 1954 in Big Spring, Texas. She was a housewife and a member of Faith Baptist Church in Snyder.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Ballard of Snyder; a daughter, Karen Remmler of Snyder; two sisters, Carydine Hopper of Tarzan, Texas and Billie Schultz, of Enid, Okla.; a granddaughter, Danielle Dosier; and a great-granddaughter, Abbagail Ballard.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ricky Dan Ballard; and two brothers; Lee Lawdermilk and Edwin Lawdermilk.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
