Lucille Aston, 93 of Big Spring died Friday, June 1, 2012, at Parkview Nursing Home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Coleman Cemetery in Coleman with Kermit Sorrels of Coleman officiating.
She was born July 23, 1918, in Coleman, Texas. She was the secretary for Grammarâ€™s Department Store for many years, then worked at Coleman Independent School District as a secretary until retiring. She moved to Big Spring 15 years ago from Coleman. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Coleman.
She is survived by two daughters, Pam Beauchamp and her husband Roy Don of Big Spring, and Dana Dodson of Stockton, Calif.; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a niece.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hap Aston; and three brothers, Bill Stewart, Carl Stewart and Osie Stewart.
