Lucille Aston

Lucille Aston, 93 of Big Spring died Friday, June 1, 2012, at Parkview Nursing Home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Coleman Cemetery in Coleman with Kermit Sorrels of Coleman officiating.

She was born July 23, 1918, in Coleman, Texas. She was the secretary for Grammar’s Department Store for many years, then worked at Coleman Independent School District as a secretary until retiring. She moved to Big Spring 15 years ago from Coleman. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Coleman.

She is survived by two daughters, Pam Beauchamp and her husband Roy Don of Big Spring, and Dana Dodson of Stockton, Calif.; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a niece.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hap Aston; and three brothers, Bill Stewart, Carl Stewart and Osie Stewart.
