Lucy Narbaiz Ochoa

Lucy Narbaiz Ochoa, 71, of Big Spring died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, in a Lubbock hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with a vigil service to follow at 7 p.m.
Lucy was born March 4, 1941, in Buda, Texas, to George and Santos Narbaiz. She married Saragosa Ochoa on Jan. 18, 1963. She was a hairdresser for the majority of her life until becoming disabled in 1999. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish.
She is survived by her husband, Saragosa Ochoa; daughter, Patsy Sanchez and son-in-law Henry Sanchez of Big Spring; two grandchildren; a great grandchild; one sister, Lupe Barraza of Big Spring; one brother, Alfonso (Poncho) Narbaiz of Big Spring; a niece; three nephews; and numerous friends and family.
Pallbearers will be Jared Sanchez, Nic Narbaiz, Cody Barraza, James Marlow, John Islas and Gilbert Narbaiz.
