Madaleno Castillo

Madaleno Castillo, age 70, of Hermleigh passed away Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013.

Rosary for Mr. Castillo was held Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, in Wright Colonial Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Roy Badillas officiating. Burial followed in Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wright Colonial Funeral Home.

Mr. Castillo was born June 19, 1942, in Bastrop, Texas, to Federico and Josefina Castillo. He married Elvira Moreno on Dec. 17, 1960, in Colorado City, Texas.

Mr. Castillo is survived by his wife, Elvira Castillo of Hermleigh, Texas; two daughters, Josephine Garcia of Big Spring, Texas, and Melinda M. Rios of Clyde, Texas; four sons, Michael Castillo of Hermleigh, Texas, Alejandro Castillo of Snyder, Texas, Madaleno Castillo Jr. of San Angelo, Texas, and Emanuel Castillo of Odessa, Texas; three sisters, Freddie and Mary Castillo, Alice Luera and Lydia Guerra, all of Snyder, Texas; three brothers, Gregory Castillo of Lubbock, Texas, Freddy and Gloria Castillo of Snyder, Texas, and Eusefio and Gloria Mireles of St. George, Kan.; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Castillo was preceded in death by his parents.
