Manuela Rios Galindo, 73, of Big Spring, died Friday Nov. 22, 2013, at Midland Memorial Hospital. Vigil service will be 7 p.m. Sunday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Monsignor Bernard L. Gully officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Park.
She was born April 6, 1940, to Vincenta and Porfirio Rios in Gonzales, Texas. She was a lifetime resident of Big Spring. She was a seamstress and worked at Walls Industries. She was an active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish.
She is survived by two daughters, Norma Morales and husband Jesus of Midland, Texas, Cecilia Hallford and Billy Wayne of Big Spring, Texas; two brothers, Luis Rios and wife Erlinda and Joe Rios and wife Debbie, all of Big Spring; two sisters Ophelia Rios of Oklahoma and Juanita Trevino of Michigan; four grandchildren Alexandra Galindo of Midland, Destiny Hallford, Hunny Hallford and Emily Hallford all of Big Spring and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death in 1994 by her husband Felipe Galindo; two brothers Daniel Rios and Porfirio Rios Jr., and one sister Olivia Escobedo.
