Marciano 'Marcy' Gracia

Marciano “Marcy” Gracia, 52, of Big Spring died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Myers & Smith Chapel.

He was born June 8, 1960, in Brownsville to Gregoria and Rolando Gracia. He grew up in Brownsville and married Mary Flores in 1981. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1977 to 1981 before moving to Big Spring. He worked as a carpenter and general contractor.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Yvette Roach and Sylvia McCormick, both of Big Spring; one son, Jacob Flores of Lubbock; five sisters, Marcela Hawk and Vivana Hernandez of San Antonio, Ventura Hermosillo of Fort Worth and Marta Mata and Maria Vallejo of Brownsville; two brothers, Francisco Gracia of Mission and Primitivio Gracia of Brownsville; and eight grandchildren.
