Margarita Ross, 86, of Big Spring, died Friday Dec. 13, 2013, at her residence. Vigil services will be Sunday 7 p.m. at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral mass will be Monday 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish with Monsignor Bernard Gully officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Park.
She was born to Polycarpia and Concepcion Carrillo Jan. 1, 1927, in Coahoma, Texas, and was a lifetime resident of Howard County. She married Robert Ross Sept. 9, 1947, in Big Spring. She was a homemaker and member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish
She is survived by her husband Robert Ross Sr. of Big Spring; one son Robert Ross Jr., and wife Patti of Grand Prairie, Texas; two daughters Irma Ross Chavez and husband Orlando Sr. of Big Spring and Yolanda Ross Murray and husband Les of The Colony, Texas; two brothers Liberato Carrillo of Big Spring and Florencio Carrillo of Portland, Ore.; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one sister Socarro Mendoza; four brothers Epifanio, Concepcion, Leo and Dolores Carrillo.
