Mark Stiles

Mark Stiles, 81, of Big Spring died Wednesday Nov. 6, 2013, at his residence. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
He was born Jan. 30, 1932, to Henrietta Ellen (Cheatom) and Opal Gold Stiles in Boliver, Mo. He has been a resident of Howard County for more than 38 years. He was a self-employed painter. He was a member of Grace Fellowship Church of God.
He is survived by nine children; daughters, Linda Buehler and husband John of Newcastle, Wyo., Deborah Lynn Rose and Carolyn Payne, both of Big Spring; step-daughter, Lynn Lair; daughter Christi Wealot and husband Monkey, all of Macon, Ga; sons, Mark C. Stiles and wife Judith of Enid, Okla.; step-son, T. Wayne Clark of Beeville; son, Cary N. Stiles of Macon, Ga.; 28 grandchildren; and 60 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Debra Capron in January of 2012 and two grandsons.
