Marlene Riffe, 58, of Forsan died Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Coahoma Cemetery.

She was born Oct. 19, 1953, in Big Spring, Texas, to Melva and Joe Swinney. She was a lifetime resident of Howard County. She was a bus driver for Forsan Independent School District.

She is survived by her husband, Archie Riffe of Forsan; one daughter, Carissa Hughes and husband Keaton of Big Spring; two sons, Jeremy Jenson and wife Shelie of Killeen and Rian Jensen and wife Jodi of Colorado City; two step-sons, David Riffe of Big Spring and Brandon Riffe and wife Heather of Elk City, Okla.; one step-daughter, Tanya Riffe and her three children of Ira; four grandchildren; two brothers, Dean Swinney and wife Jackie of Kerrville and John Swinney and wife Rachel of Sugarland; her parents, Joe and Melva Swinney of Rising Star; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
