Marvin Earl Burleson, 58, passed away Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, in Odessa, Texas.

Marvin was born Dec. 10, 1953, in Big Spring, Texas, and had resided in Burleson, Texas, for more than 20 years prior to living in Odessa.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, E. Wayne and Eleanor Burleson.

Survivors include former wife Janet Burleson Fletcher of Burleson; son, SSG Eric E. Burleson of Clarksville, Ten.; daughter, Elizabeth Earley and granddaughter, Olivia Earley of Burleson; brothers, David (Brenda) Burleson of Houston; Mike (Renee) Burleson of Crosby; Ronnie (Renee) Burleson of Big Spring and Donnie Burleson of Dallas; sisters, Carol (Mike) Schultz of Burleson; Betsy (George) Anderson of Odessa and Amy (Will) Stewart of Lubbock; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Marvin was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov, 23 at St. Matthew Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 380 NW Tarrant Ave., Burleson.
