Mary Ferrell

Mary Ferrell, 74, of Big Spring died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Myers & Smith Chapel with the Rev. Doug Shelley, pastor of East Side Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park.

Mary was born Sept. 11, 1937, in Webb City, Mo., to Alice and Harold Riddle. She came to Big Spring in 1973 from England. She was a homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God.

Mary is survived by two sons, David Ferrell and his wife Maria of Hamilton, Ala., and Danny Ferrell and his wife Donna of Big Spring; three daughters, Debbie McCain and her husband Jimmie, and Denise Ferrell, all of Big Spring, and Diane Fulton and her husband Tim of Lubbock; three grandsons; one granddaughter; two sisters: Frances Michelle of Webb City, Mo., and Jeanie Hart of Joplin, Mo.; and one brother, Ronnie Riddle and his wife Judy of Webb City, Mo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Andrew Ferrell on July 17, 2004.
