Matthews-Wheeler wedding announcement

Mr. and Mrs. Asa James Wheeler

Rory Kristen Matthews and Asa James Wheeler, both of Big Spring, exchanged wedding vows April 30, 2011, at College Baptist Church.
Rory is the daughter of Gordon and Kathy Daniels of Big Spring and the late Kenneth Matthews. She is the granddaughter of Lyndon and Joyce Priest, JoNell Daniels and Charles and Jewell Matthews, all of Big Spring.
She is attending Howard College and works at Anthony Hunt Library.
The groom is the son of Jennifer Walker of Kennadale and the grandson of Duncan and Mary Wheeler of San Antonio. He is attending Howard College and works at Sears.
A reception at Kokopellis followed the ceremony.
The bridal party consisted of maid of honor Kendra Matthews-Smith of Big Spring and Kevin Matthews, Jessica Antuna, Marissa Benitez, Acacia Daniels, all of Big Spring, served as bridesmaids. Flower girls were Aislin Smith and Danni Matthews, both of Big Spring.
Travis Wade of Big Spring served as best man. Groomsmen consisted of Mandy Garvin, Jon Campos, Andrew Smith, Chance Newton, all of Big Spring. Ring bearer was Jesse Smith of Big Spring. Ushers were Derian McCrary, Colby Campos and Kenneth Priest, all of Big Spring. Robert (Bobby) Floyd officiated the ceremony.
The couple will take a delayed honeymoon after finals and graduation from Howard College. The destination has yet to be decided.
