Memorial Day service set for Trinity Memorial Park

May 26, 2011

As the country prepares to honor its fallen heroes next week, officials with Trinity Memorial Park are planning a patriotic Memorial Day display and ceremony that features more than 120 full-size U.S. flags and hundreds of smaller flags.

Set for 2 p.m. Monday, May 30, officials with the local memorial park will hold a Memorial Day ceremony to honor the men and women who have given their lives in defense of America, according to Trinity Memorial Park Facility Manager Phillip Welch.

“This year's ceremony is going to be very simple and basic, a lot like it was last year,” said Welch. “There won't be any speakers or anything like that, just the simple wreath laying ceremony.”
