Mike D. Williams, 39, of Big Spring died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Holston Banks Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Park.
He was born Jan. 19, 1972, in Big Spring, Texas, to Bobby Edwards and Ruthie Nell Williams. He had been a lifetime resident of Big Spring. He graduated from Big Spring High School in 1991 and attended Howard College. He worked as a roustabout in the oilfield and worked a number of years at Fiber Rod. He was a member of Shiloh House of Praise.
He is survived by his wife, Ericka Williams of Big Spring; five sons, Michael Williams Jr., Chance Williams and Chase Williams, all of Big Spring, Bryce Williams of Arizona and Arlee Williams of Big Spring; two daughters, Jaycee Williams of Big Spring and Dajia Williams of Arizona; three brothers, DiJuan Ausbie, Dominique Ausbie and Chello Williams, all of Big Spring; two sisters; Sheena Evans of Austin and Rene Williams of Big Spring; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruthie Nell Smith; his grandmother, Irma Jackson; and an uncle, Robert Lee Evans.
