More than 600 vendors are expected in Stanton for Trade Days

Old Sorehead Trade Days, which takes place this weekend, isn’t sold out in terms of wares, antiques, handcrafted items and food (don’t forget the corn dogs, kettle corn, turkey legs and funnel cakes) of course. But if you’re a vendor looking for a place to do some business, you’ll have to go on down the road. With 615 vendors already signed up for what organizers call ”the best little show in West Texas” Stanton will definitely be bustin’ at the seams.

Add in 30,000 expected visitors over the show’s two-day run, and this town of 2,700 will swell indeed.

Here are the particulars:

— The location is right smack in downtown Stanton, Texas. Handicap parking is available.
— Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
— There is no admission fee.
