Mr. and Mrs. Zachary Chesworth

Becky Lynn Cheyne and Zachary Dean Chesworth exchanged wedding vows January 1, 2011. The ceremony was at First Baptist Church chapel in Big Spring. Dr. Mark Alexander of El Paso officiated.
Becky is the daughter of Keith and Vickie Cheyne of Big Spring, and the granddaughter of Red and Venitta Williams of Big Lake. Zachary is the son of Kelly and Jennifer Chesworth of Big Spring, and grandson of Lon Baucum of Abilene.
Maegan Guthrie of College Station served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Whitney Weir of Big Spring, Courtney Johnson of Lubbock and Amanda Heine of Bertram.
The best man was Tyler Chesworth, brother of the groom, of Big Spring. Groomsmen included Brad Alexander of Midland, Stephen Truex of Midland and Grayson Wegner of Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
The flowergirls were Emma and Ella Baucum of Big Spring, both cousins of the groom.
The guests were greeted as they entered the church by Clara Terral of Mertzon, cousin of the bride and Kaegan Baucum of Big Spring, cousin of the groom.
Prior to the ceremony the guests were entertained with piano selections performed by Ryan Walker.
The bride’s dress was a strapless white taffeta gown with a chapel length train. The dress was accented with flowers, rhinestones and ruching. The attendants wore strapless black floor-length dresses made of chiffon. The bride and her attendants carried bouquets of red roses with crystal accents.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her mother and was given in marriage by both parents. The couple exchanged vows and rings during a traditional ceremony.
Following the ceremony a dinner and dance was held at Kokopelli’s. Music was provided by Randall Clinkenbeard, cousin of the bride.
Becky and Zac graduated from Big Spring High School in 2006. Becky received her bachelor’s degree from Angelo State University in 2008. She is pursuing a doctor of physical therapy degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and will complete the program in May 2012.
Zac graduated from the Permian Basin Law Enforcement Academy in December 2008. He is a police officer for the city of Midland.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Ruidoso, New Mexico. They reside in Midland.
