Museum director steps down

On top of Heritage Museum’s money woes, officials there now have to deal with the departure of their long-time director.

Nancy Raney confirmed today she has stepped down after 12 years as director of the museum.

A declining membership base and loss of grant money has left the museum strapped for operating revenue. That and other responsibilities were the reasons Raney cited for leaving the facility.
