Nativity scene to ‘come alive’ Friday evening

December 12, 2013

For the past 27 years, the First Church of the Nazarene's Drive Through Living Nativity has been a part of the Christmas tradition in Big Spring. It began with seven scenes and has grown over the years – with 14 on view this year.

The drive through nativity is free but donations are accepted and will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The route will be blocked off and begins on W. 11th Place and continues south on Lancaster. The entrance to the Nativity is at the north end of the church parking lot on Lancaster and will exit at the south end. A volunteer will greet each vehicle at the entrance and exit of the event.

The First Church of the Nazarene is located at 1400 Lancaster. Call 267-7015 for more information.
