Funeral services for Nita Clemmer Boyd, 97, of Richmond, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg.

Nita was born May 6, 1915, in Callahan County to Robert Clemmer Sr. and Jesse Windland Clemmer. She passed away June 26, 2012, at her residence in Richmond.

Nita is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Boyd; parents, Robert and Jesse Clemmer; an infant son, Douglas Boyd; son-in-law, Gary James Tidwell; and numerous brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Helen Tidwell; sister, Verna Jo Clemmer; brother, Cloise Clemmer; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
