Nora Valles Luevano, 55, of Big Spring, died Friday, March 14, 2014 at University Medical Center in Lubbock. Vigil services will be 7 p.m. Monday at Myers & Smith Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be 6 p.m., Tuesday at Myers & Smith Funeral Chapel.

She was born Oct. 8, 1958, in Big Spring, and was a lifetime resident, except for about 20 years that she lived in Dallas, Texas. While in Dallas, she worked for The Internal Revenue Service. She was a member of Life Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Christin Martinez and her husband Isaac of Dallas; one son, Robert Luevano and his wife, Brandy of Dallas; seven grandchildren; mother, Anita Valles of Big Spring; two sisters, Lita Salazar and her husband Henry of Big Spring, and Cruz Rodriguez and her husband Ron of Florida; two brothers, Lito Valles and his wife Velma and Raul Valles and his wife Delia, all of Big Spring; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Zeke Valles.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to a fund set up at Myers & Smith Funeral Home to help with expenses.
