Oceal McMillan, 92, of Big Spring, died Monday, Feb. 17, 2014 at Parkview Nursing and Rehab. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Memorial Park Peace Chapel. Pastor Tom Lassiter of Crestview Baptist Church will be officiating.

She was born in Howard County to Emma and Roy Wilson May 20, 1921. She was a graduate of Big Spring High School and Draughan’s Business College in Lubbock. She worked as a bookkeeper and office manager. She married John McMillan Oct. 23, 1942, in Lubbock. He preceded her in death on Nov. 20, 2007. She had been in Big Spring for eight years, coming from Brownwood.

She is survived by two sons, Ron McMillan and wife, Sandy, of Columbia City, Ore. and Charles Michael McMillan of Orchard City, Wash; one sister, Maudie Mclendon of Big Spring; five grandsons; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Sandra Kay McMillan and Jo Ella Beesinger; and one brother Roy Eugene Wilson.
