Officials hope to broaden scope of Dunn investigation

COLORADO CITY — Finding the right words may get them somewhere.

At least that's what Colorado City City Manager Pete Kampfer said at a press conference here Wednesday morning concerning 13-year-old Hailey Dunn, who has been missing since Dec. 27.

“We certainly want to locate Hailey,” Kampfer said. “At this point we want to find Hailey and we have to do something to get us to a new level.”

Kampfer said that by rewording the circulating flyers concerning the reward, new leads may begin to surface. The current flyers state that a reward will be given for information leading to a successful prosecution and for Hailey's safe return.
