Olga Chavarria, 62, of Big Spring, died Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at her residence. Prayer services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2014, at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Burial will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Park.

She was born July 1, 1951, in Big Spring, Texas to Sara (Brito) and Lalo Chavarria. She was a lifetime resident of Big Spring. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed listening to music, especially the “oldies.” She loved to make Easter baskets for her grandchildren.

She is survived by her companion, Juan Juarez of Big Spring; one daughter, Luisa Viera and husband Joe of Big Spring; two sons, Gilbert Naranjo and Vincent Martinez Chavarria, both of Big Spring; seven grandchildren, Andreana Viera, Joe Anthony Viera, Claudia Viera, Lisette Viera, Krishena Viera, Briana Naranjo and Jr. Narango; two great-grandchildren, Kashad Daggs and Kamiry Daggs; and three sisters, Rosa Pineda, Yolanda Villarreal and Melinda Cano.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Paula Villarreal; and three brothers, Lalo Chavarria, David Chavarria and Albert (Beto) Chavarria.

Those serving as pallbearers are Vincent Martinez, Gilbert Naranjo, Ray Chavarria, David Chavarria, Felix Chavarria and Isaac Chavarria.
