Olga Godina

Olga Godina, 54, of Big Spring, died Monday Nov. 4, 2013, at her home after a long battle with cancer. Memorial services will be 5 p.m. Thursday at East Fourth Baptist Church.

She was born May 24, 1959 to Esperanza and Pablo Escobar in Levelland, Texas. She had been a resident of Big Spring for 16 years, moving to the community from Brownfield. She was a Catholic and a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Gloria Martinez, Norma Godina and Anna Godina, all of Big Spring; three sons, Gilbert Jimenez Jr., Timothy Jimenez and Lorenzo Jimenez, all of Big Spring; three sisters, Sylvia Lopez, Alice Lopez and Maggie Tobar, all of Littlefield, Texas; two brothers, Paul Escobar Jr. and Luis Escobar, both of Littlefield; and 12 grandchildren.
