Opal Pauline Ballard, 81, of Odessa died Thursday, June 21, 2012, at her residence. She was born May 22, 1931, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Oscar Elroy and Iva (King) Chandler. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Emmit Ballard.
She is survived by her son, Royce Ballard of Odessa; daughter, Clovis (Sas-c) Pranschke of Big Spring; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2012, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2012, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Darren Weaver officiating. Graveside service will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo.
Services are entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
