Oscar Hilario, 53, of Big Spring, died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with the Rev. Axel Chavez officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at the funeral home.
He was born Feb. 27, 1958, in Big Spring, Texas, and was a lifetime resident of Big Spring. He worked as a dietary cook for Parkview Nursing Home and Rehabilitation and other nursing homes in town.
Survivors include four brothers, Victor Hilario, Ruben Hilario, Richard Hilario and Rolando Hilario; three sisters, Rebecca Brito, Maggie Hilario and Rachel H. Perez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Victoriano and Guadalupe Hilario; one sister, Pascuila Resendez; and one nephew.
