Vanessa Parra and Jacob Romero

Vanessa Parra and Jacob Romero are getting married.
Vanessa is the daughter of Sandy Parra of Big Spring, and Juan Parra. She is the granddaughter of Urena Loya and the late Octavio Loya of Big Spring and Don Juan Parra of El Paso and the late Scorro Parra.
She graduated from Big Spring High School in 2003, Howard College in 2005, Baylor University in 2008 and received her masters degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2009.
Jacob is the son of Marie and Louis Romero of Austin and Robert Rowley of San Antonio. He is the grandson of the late Felipe and Eduvigen Dutchover and the late Aurora and Ron Rowley Sr.
He graduated from Midland Lee High School in 2001 and received his degree in culinary arts from Texas Culinary Arts Academy.
Vanessa and Jacob will be married Saturday, June 11, 2011, in Austin where they both work and reside.
