Pascuala G. Ruiz, 82, of Coahoma died Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, at University Medical Center in Lubbock. 
Vigil Services will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Coahoma with Msgr. Bernard L. Gully officiating. Burial will be at Coahoma Cemetery.
She was born April 7, 1929, in Howard County to Delfina and Leon Gonzales. She married Barnabe Ruiz on Jan. 18, 1947. He preceded her in death on Oct. 18, 1985. She was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Howard County. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
She is survived by two sons,  Juan Ruiz and his wife Maria, and David Ruiz and his wife Linda, all of Coahoma; three daughters, Alicia Torres and her husband Victor of Big Spring, Petra Arguello and her husband Santos and Dora Escanuelas and her husband Ygnacio, Jr., all of Coahoma; one brother, Fermin Gonzales and his wife Eloisia of Coahoma; two sisters,  Martha Arispe of Sand Springs and Mary Rodriguez and her husband Cruz of Big Spring; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.
