Patricia Singleton

Patricia Singleton of Midland, formerly of O’Donnell, died Aug. 28, 2012 at the age of 67. She was born in O’Donnell on July 13, 1945 to Edward and Bulah Mae (Taylor) Summers.

Patricia married Bobby Gene Shubert on June 10, 1967 in Gatesville, Texas. She then married Everett Singleton in 2005 in Coahoma. Patricia was a homemaker and member of the O’Donnell Church of Christ.

Survivors include two daughters, Teressa Diane Fair of Lubbock and Kimberly Ann Meeks of Canyon; son, Charles Edward Shubert of Midland; brother, Eddie Summers of Gatesville; three sisters, Inez Lee of Gatesville, Wynell Tyler of Amarillo and Vada Mae Flemming of Paint Rock; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; one son, Billy Gene Shubert; two brothers, Jody and Donald Wayne Summers; and two sisters, Larene Engle and Louise Altum.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 2012 at Combest Family Funeral Homes O’Donnell. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at O’Donnell Cemetery.
