update on missing mother and daughter
COLORADO CITY â€” A Snyder woman was treated for a concussion and split lip hours before she and her 2-year-old daughter went missing, according to the Colorado City Police Department.
Police are searching for the whereabouts of 23-year-old Brittany Brianne Hill and her infant daughter, Khloe Makinley Wheeler. The two were last seen Tuesday in Colorado City, where Hill was visiting her mother.
Police are also searching for Hillâ€™s â€śboyfriendâ€ť â€” 21-year-old Rosendo Gonzales.
According to information released by police, Hill was apparently assaulted in the early morning hours Monday. She was treated at Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder for a concussion, and received five stitches to her upper lip. Police said the alleged assault was not reported as an assault to hospital staff, but as injuries related to falling.
Police said Gonzales has a history of violence toward Hill, adding that the coupleâ€™s past indicates domestic disputes between them. They also said Hill has a history of drug abuse, but it is unknown if she was under the influence at the time of her disappearance.
Hill is listed as a white female, 5â€™7â€ť, weighing 160 pounds with blonde or brown hair and brown eyes. Her daughter is a white female with blonde or brown hair and brown eyes. Hill drives a blue 2002 Toyota Highlander minivan with the Texas license plate of NVY178.
Gonzales is descriped as a hispanic male, 6â€™1â€ť, 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
