P.E. Osburn

P.E. Osburn, 90, of Paducah, Texas, formerly of Big Spring, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, in Paducah.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at Chillicothe Cemetery with Randy Wilson officiating. Interment will be under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

P.E. was born April 17, 1922, in Oglesby, Texas, the son of the late W.C. Osburn and Louvena Chamblee Osburn. He had lived in Paducah since 2003. He served in the US Navy during World War II as a seaman machinist mate first class. He also served in Coast Guard as a firefighter and worked for Texaco for 32 years.

He is survived by three sons, Zack Osburn of Paducah, Bryan Osburn and Bruce Osburn, both of of Odessa, Texas; two daughters, June Cooper of Brownfield, Texas, and Sheral Freeman of Odessa, Texas; three brothers, Kenneth Osburn, Glendon Osburn and Loran Osburn, all of Houston, Texas; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
