Pedro Garcia, 55, of Big Spring, Texas, passed away Aug. 11, 2012, in a Midland hospital. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, in the chapel of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Michael Udegbunam. Burial will follow at Mitchell County Cemetery with Kiker-Seale Funeral Home directing services.

Visitation will be held Tuesday until 8 p.m., with rosary at 7 p.m. at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel.

He was born Oct. 7, 1956 to Cecilio Garcia and Andrea De La Paz Garcia and worked as an operator in the oil fields.

Pedro is survived by his wife, Angel Garcia; daughter, Priscilla Garcia and husband Joey Cerda; sons, Cecil Garcia and wife, Sonia, and Pete Garcia Jr. and wife, Belinda, all of Big Spring, and Andrew Garcia and wife, Vanessa of Snyder; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Teresa Pena and husband, Adolio of Rungee, Pauline Pena of Abilene, Anna Guzman of Lubbock, Elena Pena of Florida, Felipa Salas and Carmen Cates of Waxahatchie; and brother, Cecilio Garcia of Jacksboro.
