The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 9 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. today:
• KENDRA MICHELLE MATTHEWS, 29, of 3701 Connally St., was arrested Saturday on warrants for possession of alcohol by a minor and failure to appear.
• JEREMY STEVEN THROWER, 27, of 206 Circle, was arrested Saturday on warrants for driving without being secured by safety belt and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
• ISREAL ALVAREZ, 25, of 1504 Chickasaw, was arrested Saturday on a warrant from another agency.
• CHANCE FELKER COOKE, 26, of 3305 Maple, was arrested Saturday on a charge of violation of a protective order – communications.
• MELANIE URIAS WATSON, 40, of 2530 Hunter, was arrested Saturday on a warrant from another agency.
• DANIEL FORREST OYLER, 38, of 1704 S. Austin, was arrested Sunday on a charge of driving while license invalid/suspended with a previous conviction.
• FORTUNATO ALVAREZ III, 23, of 1311 Wood, was arrested Sunday on a charge of driving while license invalid.
• CARLTON KEITH SPIVEY, 33, of 2505 Dow, was arrested Sunday on charges of failure to report change of address or name and expired license plate.
• JODY BENNETT, 32, of 4014 Parkway, was arrested Sunday on charges of evading arrest or detention using a vehicle, possession of marijuana – two ounces or less and assault – family violence.
• ALEXANDER RAY HENSLEY, 19, of 2608 Cheyenne, was arrested Sunday on a charge of driving while license invalid – DWI related.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 1600 block of Martin Luther King Blvd.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 1900 block of E. 24th Street.
In the 900 block of Willia.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported:
in the 1300 block of Johnson
In the 1400 block of E. 14th Street.
In the 1900 block of E. 25th Street.
In the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported:
In the 500 block of S. Goliad.
In the 400 block of Hillside Drive.
• BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE was reported in the 1500 block of Wood.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:

• PETER MARCELLO ROGERS, 27, was transferred to the county jail Friday by the BSPD on charges of no safety belt, violation of a promise to appear, driving while license invalid and municipal warrants for failure to appear and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
• ROBERT WAYNE MOSELEY, 47, was arrested Friday by the HCSO on a charge of driving while intoxicated (open container) – third or more offense.
• SHAWN D. BLYTHE, 37, was arrested Friday on a charge of cooperative agreement with states on fuel tax.
• ADAM ROSS JONES, 27, was transferred to the county jail Friday by the BSPD on a charge of driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension and a municipal warrant for city ordinance – failure to post permit.
• THOMAS WAYNE SKELTON, 46, was arrested Friday by the HCSO on a motion to revoke probation for driving while intoxicated – third or more offense.
• JOHN THOMAS LAMAR, 57, was arrested Friday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for driving while intoxicated.
• DAVID LEE RHOADES, 33, was arrested Friday by DPS on charges of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less and possession of a controlled substance.
• ALFRED GONZALES SANCHEZ, 61, was arrested Friday by DPS on charges of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less and possession of a controlled substance.
• ALFRED GONZALES SANCHEZ JR., 40, was arrested Saturday by DPS on charges of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less and possession of a controlled substance.
• MARIA ESTHER HINOJOSA, 44, was transferred to the county jail Saturday by the BSPD on municipal warrants for open container in vehicle and speeding in a school zone.
• ARMANDO HERNANDEZ JR., 20, was arrested Saturday by DPS on Ward County warrants for possession of marijuana – two ounces or less, failure to appear – theft and assault causing bodily injury.
• JEREMY STEVEN THROWER, 27, was transferred to the county jail Saturday by the BSPD on municipal warrants for no seat belt – driver and failure to maintain financial responsibility.

• FORTUNATO ALVAREZ III, 23, was transferred to the county jail Saturday by the BSPD on charges of driving while license invalid, allow child 2-17 years of age to ride unsecured and speeding.

• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
