Police arrest robbery suspect

A Big Spring man was arrested Thursday in connection with an aggravated robbery reported Jan. 7, according to law enforcement officials.

Charlie Jake Turner Jr., 31, of 900 S. Aylesford, was arrested Thursday by officers with the Big Spring Police Department on a warrant for aggravated robbery.

According to Sgt. Tony Everett, public information officer with the BSPD, Turner was arrested for the alleged robbery of the 7-Eleven store at 1209 E. 11th Place that was reported at approximately 3:54 a.m.
