The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 9 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. today:
• JOE AARON MAJOR, 32, of Orange, was arrested Saturday on charges of assault with an aggravated weapon (two counts) and possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• JEFFERY JEROME WILLIAMS, 35, of Port Arthur, was arrested Saturday on charges of unlawfully carrying a weapon and public intoxication.
• AMANDA RENEE MCGREGOR, 23, of Lamesa, was arrested Saturday on a charge of public intoxication.
• JEROMY LEE GOMEZ, 20, of 1405 Sycamore, was arrested Saturday on a warrant for dog or cat running at large.
• JOSE ANTONIO HERNANDEZ JR., 24, of 4201 W. Highway 80, was arrested Saturday on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• JOSHUA RYAN SANCHEZ, 19, of 3730 Adams, was arrested Saturday on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• MATTHEW RYAN SOUND, 21, of 2110 Nolan, was arrested Saturday on a warrant for expired motor vehicle inspection certificate.
• COREY PRESTON HOFFPAUIR, 34, of 1100 Sycamore, was arrested Saturday on a warrant from another agency.
• TERRANCE DEWAYNE MARION, 22, of 1707 Aylesford, was arrested Sunday on charges or evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, possession of marijuana – two ounces or less and no driver's license – when unlicensed.
• MAURICIO TORRES, 37, of 311 W. Third St., was arrested Sunday on charges of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less and a warrant from another agency.
• MARCOS MENDEZ III, 18, of 1511 S. Johnson, was arrested Sunday on a charge of assault causing bodily injury – family violence.
• BRENT LEE MARIN, 39, of 620 Caylor, was arrested Sunday on a warrant for theft – shoplifting.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
In the 200 block of FM 700
In the 2600 block of Albrook.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported in the 2w700 block of Wasson Road.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:

• JAMES BRIAN FIVEASH, 54, was transferred to the county jail Friday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• CARLOS BURROLAS MARQUEZ, 50, was arrested Friday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension.
• ERNESTO DUTCHOVER GARCIA, 59, was arrested Friday by the HCSO on indictments for three counts of indecency with a child (second-degree felony), three counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child (first-degree felony) and a charge of continuous sexual assault of a child under 14 years of age (first-degree felony).
• ATHEA RYANNE NALL, 27, was arrested Friday by the HCSO on charges of assault causing bodily injury and accident involving damage to a vehicle.
• CHRISTOPHER ROBERT CARTER, 39, was arrested Friday by the HCSO on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• BENARDO JACINTO HILARIO, 23, was arrested Friday by DPS on a charge of driving while intoxicated – open container.
• DAVID LEE POWELL JR., 25, was arrested Friday by the HCSO on municipal warrants for no seat belt – driver and driving while license invalid.
• KRISTI LYNN SIX, 41, was arrested Friday by the HCSO on a charge of driving while intoxicated – third or more offense.
• FRANKIE WADE ORTEGA, 23, was arrested Friday by DPS on charges of failure to identify – giving false information and resisting arrest, search or transportation.
• CHRISTOPHER DON RANDLE, 45, was transferred to the county jail Friday by the BSPD on a charge of open container in vehicle.
• JAVIEL SOLIZ, 29, was arrested Friday by the HCSO on a charge of child support – failure to appear.
• JOE AARON MAJOR, 32, was transferred to the county jail Friday by the BSPD on aggravated assault (two counts) and possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.

• GUADALUPE MORENO III, 25, was arrested Sunday by the Martin County Sheriff's Office on a Martin County warrant for assault – family violence and an Ector County warrant for driving while intoxicated.
• SAMMY FERRELL, 49, was arrested Sunday by DPS on a charge of public intoxication.
• TERRANCE DEWAYNE MARION, 22, was transferred to the county jail Sunday by the BSPD on charges of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less, evading arrest or detention and a municipal warrant for no driver's license.
• MAURICIO TORRES, 37, was transferred to the county jail Sunday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less and an Andrews County motion to revoke probation for theft by check.

• LANE PAUL GAMMONS, 18, was arrested Monday by the HCSO on a charge of public intoxication.
• VIRGINIA CORDOVA, 30, was arrested Monday by the HCSO on a charge of animal at large.
