The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. today:
• DAVID RAY HENSON, 42, of 5205 Longshore Dr., was arrested Wednesday on a warrant from another agency and a charge of theft.
• RANSOM COLTON PARKS, 18, of 3228 Cornell, was arrested Wednesday on charges of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less, possession of drug paraphernalia and expired registration.
• WILLIAM DARIC GILL, 40, of 3509 E. Interstate Highway 20 Apt. 20, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of assault – family violence.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 4200 block of Hamilton.
In the 500 block of San Jacinto.
In the 1500 block of Sycamore.
In the 200 block of W. FM 700.
In the 200 block of Texas Road.
In the 1600 block of Owens.
In the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
In the 1100 block of E. 14th Street.
In the 7500 block of Brandon Road.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 3600 block of W. Highway 80.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 71 inmates at the time of this report.
• JESSICA DAWN PHILLIPS, 25, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a charge of assault causing bodily injury.
• KIMBERLY RIOS, 25, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a charge of issuance of a bad check.
• DAVID RAY HENSON, 42, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on chargeS of theft (two counts).
• RUSS C. HESSON, 43, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a charge of theft of property – more than $500 and less than $1,500.
• RANSOM COLTON PARKS, 18, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on charges of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less, possession of drug paraphernalia and displaying an expired motor vehicle registration.
• WILLIAM DARIC GILL, 40, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of assault – family violence.
• STEPHEN HEATH GREGORY, 28, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension.
• GILBERT GONZALES, 30, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on Midland County warrants for driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension, failure to maintain financial responsibility and violation of a promise to appear.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1400 block of Tucson. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1000 block of N. Main Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 900 block of N. Runnels. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1600 block of Lancaster. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1300 block of Mt. Vernon. One person was transported to SMMC.
