The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
•VERONICA HALARIO MARTINEZ, 29, of 1002 N. Main 46, was arrested Tuesday on warrants for fail to appear (two counts), expired registration and failed to maintain financial responsibility.
• JOHN WILLIAM SALAZAR, 36, of 4215 Calvin St., was arrested Tuesday on warrants for assault by threat, fail to appear, harassment (two counts) and warrant from other agency (three counts).
• BRANDON HEATH WINTERS, 34, of 1214 Lloyd Avenue, was arrested Tuesday on warrants from other agency (two counts).
• MELISSA URANGA VELASQUEZ, 47, of 4400 Beachnutt, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of theft less than $50 for shoplifting.
• KAILA RASHAE THOMPSON, 21, of 1429 E. Sixth St. 26, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for failed to maintain financial responsibility.
• LEE TORRES ESCOBAR, 33, of 811 E. 16th St., was arrested Wednesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• BRODIE LEE DUNN, 32, of 1706 Young St., was arrested Wednesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• JASON ORTEGA, 30, of 1208 Lloyd St., was arrested Wednesday on a charge of assault: family violence threat or offensive touch.
• MICHAEL RENE ROBLES, 39, of 712 S. Johnson St., was arrested Tuesday on a warrant from other agency.
• JAMES ANDREW MCMILLIAN, 40, of 3220 Cornell, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of possession of controlled substance less than 28 grams.
• LONNIE BORDEN LOVERN, 30, of 119 Ebner, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 1700 block of State Street.
In the 200 block of E. FM 700.
• HARASSMENT was reported in the 1000 block of W. Third Street.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 200 block of W. FM 700.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 70 inmates at the time of this report.
• VERONICA MARTINEZ, 29, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by BSPD on warrants for failure to appear (two counts), fail to maintain financial responsibility.
• BRANDON HEATH WINTERS, 34, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by BSPD on issuance of bad check and theft of property by check between $20 and $500.
• JOHN WILLIAM SALAZAR, 36, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by BSPD on charges of harrassment (two counts), possession of drug paraphernalia, violate promise to appear, failure to appear (two counts) and assault by threat.
• MICHAEL RENE ROBLES, 39, was arrested Tuesday by HCSO on warrant for failure to appear.
• MELISSA VELASQUEZ, 47, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by BSPD on a charge of theft.
• FIDEL GALVAN, 17, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by BSPD on a charge of no drivers license.
• KAILA THOMPSON, 21, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by BSPD on warrant for fail to maintain financial responsibility.

• RUDY TREVINO, 49, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday on a charge of driving while license invalid with previous conviction.
• BRODIE LEE DUNN, 32, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by BSPD on a charge of public intoxciation.
• LONNIE BORDEN LOVERN JR., 30, was arrested Wednesday by HCSO on a charge of public intoxication.
• JIM TRAVIS COKER, 61, was arrested Wednesday by HCSO on charges of driving while license invalid with previous conviction or suspension without final restitution and possession of marijuana less than two ounces.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 300 block of S. Aylsford. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported to 1603 Hilltop Road. One person was transported to SMMC.
