The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 9 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. today:
• JOE ALBERT CANALES, 28, of 1201 S. Johnson, was arrested Sunday on charges of assault – intentionally/recklessly impeding normal breathing or circulation – family violence, parent contributing to the non-attendance (two counts) and bail jumping – failure to appear.
• STEVEN VALENCIA GAMBOA, 28, of 506 N. Nolan, was arrested Sunday on a warrant from another agency and a warrant for driving while license invalid.
• ANTHONY JOSEPH YANEZ, 21, of 1610 Cardinal, was arrested Sunday on a warrant for consumption of alcohol by a minor.
• MARTY RAY EVANS JR., 22, of 1410 E. 11th Place, was arrested Sunday on a charge of public intoxication.
• BRANDON GILBERT FALKNER, 29, of 708 W. 17th St., was arrested Sunday on a charge of driving while intoxicated – open container.
• COREY PRESTON HOFFPAUIR, 35, of 1100 Sycamore, was arrested Sunday on a warrant from another agency.
• BOBBY CLAY BROWNE, 47, of Rising Star, Texas, was arrested Sunday on a charge of driving while license suspended/invalid with a previous conviction.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 2300 block of Wasson Road.
In the 1800 block of S. Gregg Street.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported:
In the 3600 block of W. Highway 80.
In the 2900 block of Old Highway 80.
• BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE was reported:
In the 1200 block of Johnson.
In the 400 block of S. Owens.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported near the intersection of Wasson and Avondale. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1900 block of Morrison. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 300 block of Veterans Blvd. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 200 block of N. Goliad. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of State. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 300 block of S. Owens. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 300 block of Veterans Blvd. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1100 block of Sycamore. One person was transported to SMMC.
• GAS LEAK was reported in the 1500 block of Sycamore.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 300 block of Veterans Blvd. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2700 block of Cindy. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported near the 174 mile marker of Interstate Highway 20. Two people were transported to SMMC.
