The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
Note — The BSPD reported no arrests were made for the corresponding period.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 1000 block of E. Second Street.
In the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
In the 800 block of Rosemont.
• BURGLARY OF A BUILDING was reported in the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
• BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE was reported in the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported:
In the 1200 block of S. Goliad.
In the 2000 block of Virginia.
In the 1000 block of S. Goliad.
In the 1100 block of Mulberry.
• ASSAULT was reported:
In the 1900 block of N. Highway 87.
In the 3600 block of W. Highway 80.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported in the 1200 block of S. Goliad.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 64 inmates at the time of this report.
• RUBIN SARABIA, 45, was arrested Tuesday by DPS on Medina County warrants for failure to appear and flat tires.
• CHRISTOPHER MICHAEL REECE, 34, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a charge of bondsman off bond – evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, municipal capias warrants for speeding, expired driver's license, driving while license invalid and failure to appear and municipal warrants for violation of a promise to appear (three counts) and failure to appear (three counts).
• GERALD CARL WHITFIELD, 26, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a motion to revoke probation for possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• SAMMY HERNANDEZ LIMON, 30, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the BSPD on charges of driving while intoxicated – third or more offense and driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension.
• MICHAEL SHANE ALLEN, 38, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2600 block of Carlton. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 800 block of W. FM 700. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1800 block of N. Lamesa. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported in the 1900 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 500 block of Scurry. No transport.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1300 block of Colby. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2000 block of Rickabaugh. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 400 block of E. Fifth Street. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 500 block of W. 17th Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 3600 block of Dixon. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1700 block of Lancaster. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 3200 block of Parkway. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1900 block of Martin Luther King Blvd. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1100 block of N. Scurry. One person was transported to SMMC.
