The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today:
• ANTHONY A. VASQUEZ, 38, of 2525 Hunter, was arrested Thursday on two warrants from other agencies.
• ANDREW JUAREZ JR., 23, of 411 Trades, was arrested Friday on a charge of failure to identify as a fugitive – giving false information and a warrant from another agency.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 1400 block of Tucson.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 1000 block of N.W. Second Street.
In the 700 block of Scurry.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported:
In the 100 block of N.E. Second Street.
In the 400 block of N.E. 12th Street.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 67 inmates at the time of this report.
• LAPAUL ERIC SCAGGS, 36, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a indictment warrant for indecency with a child – sexual contact.
• ANTHONY A. VASQUEZ, 38, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on warrants for issuance of a bad check and theft by check – more than $20 and less than $500.
• JERRICK DECOVA STRAUGHTER, 40, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for possession of a controlled substance.
• ANDREW JUAREZ, 23, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on charges of bail jumping – failure to appear and failure to identify as a fugitive – giving false information.
• KENNETH ADAM LUNA, 31, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by DPS on a charge of driving while intoxicated – second offense.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• TRAUMA was reported in the 600 block of E. FM 700. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 300 block of W. Fifth Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• STRUCTURE FIRE was reported in the 1200 block of E. 17th Street.
• TRAUMA was reported in the area of Courtney Circle. No one was transported.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2700 block of S. Gregg Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1900 block of N. Lamesa. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1000 block of W. 16th Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 300 block of Veterans Blvd. No one was transported.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 700 block of W. 17th Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1800 block of N. Lamesa. One person was transported to SMMC.
