Police blotter for Aug. 13,2011

The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday:
• LUIS ALEJANDRO RAMOS, 22, of 2911 W. Hwy 80 141, was arrested Friday on a charge of possession of marijuana less than or equal to two ounces.
• KODY CHANCE JACKSON, 25, of 3217 Fenn St., was arrested Friday on charges of possession of controlled substance less than one gram, expired motor vehicle inspection certificate, failure to appear (five counts), speeding, expired drivers license, driving while license invalid and failed to maintain financial responsibility.
• DAVID ORTIZ, 42, of 105 NE 10th, was arrested Friday on a charge of driving while intoxicated/open container (second offense)
• JAMES JOSEPH ATTEBERRY, 32, of 200 Willow in Bowie, was arrested Friday on a charge of public intoxication.
• RAFAEL VASQUEZ ORTIZ JR., 47, 2202 Williams Rd., was arrested Friday on warrants for safety seat system/child under age of 8 or less than 4’9” tall.
• CARLOS N. APONTE, 23, of405 W. Fifth Street, was arrested Friday on a charge of public intoxication.
• DAVID LYNN DOW, 28, transient, was arrested Friday on a charge of criminal trespass of habitation/shelter.
• ISMAEL JJ RODRIGUEZ, 34, of 3010 Cherokee, was arrested Friday on a charge of disorderly conduct/noise.
• RENE ANGEL VALDEZ JR., 50, of 2205 Johnson St., was arrested Friday on a charge of public intoxication.
• DARRELL SCOTT SHULTS, 28, of 2511 Fisher St., was arrested Friday on warrants for failure to appear (five counts), driving while license invalid (three counts), failed to maintain financial responsibility and expired registration.
• JUAN MIGUEL RODRIGUEZ, 22, of 7 Val Verde, was arrested Friday on a charge of purchasing/furnishing alcohol to a minor.
• THEFT was reported in the 600 block of W IH 20.
In the 1600 block of E. Sixth St.
