The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
• BOBBY LEE AGUERO JR., 29, of 1402 Mt. Vernon, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of hindering officers discharging official duties.
• JOE ERNEST VALENCIA SR., 48, of 202 N.E. Third St., was arrested Tuesday on a charge of hindering officers discharging official duties.
• JOE ERNEST VALENCIA JR., 28, 1615 Canary, was arrested Tuesday on charges of hindering officers discharging official duties and resisting arrest, search or transportation.
• CHRISTOPHER ANDREW YANEZ, 18, of 1100 E. Fifth St., was arrested Tuesday on a charge of hindering officers discharging official duties.
• ASHLEY VALENCIA, 21, of 908 S. Nolan, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• KEVIN GLENN CATE, 39, of 3227 Cornell, was arrested Tuesday on three warrants from other agencies and warrants for speeding, failure to appear (three counts), failure to maintain financial responsibility (two counts) and driving while license invalid (two counts).
• MIGUEL ANTONIO ARENIVAZ JR., 22, of 3304 W. Highway 80 Apt. 23A, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant from another agency.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 1700 block of S. Lancaster.
In the 7500 block of Brandon Road.
• BURGLARY OF A BUILDING was reported in the 1200 block of W. Third Street.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 4100 block of Muir Street.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 69 inmates at the time of this report.
• JOE ERNEST VALENCIA JR., 28, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on charges of hindering officers discharging official duties and resisting arrest, search or transportation.
• CHRISTOPHER ANDREW YANEZ, 18, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of hindering officers discharging official duties.
• JUAN GABRIEL MORAN, 37, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on judgment/ DWI open alcohol container.
• ASHLEY VALENCIA, 21, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• SHANNON DEWAYNE HUDGINS, 34, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a charge of public intoxication and open container in motor vehicle.
• DAVID RENTERIA, 45, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a charge of theft less than $50.
• MIGUEL ANTONIO ARENIVAZ, JR., was transferred to the county jail by the BSPD Tuesday on judgement sentence for possession of marijuana less than two ounces.
• JIM LLOYD POLLARD, 53, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on judgement sentence for possession of dangerous drug.
• HOLLY DENISE JENNINGS, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a judgement sentence for theft of property greater than or equal to $500 and less than $1500, judgement sentence for driving while license invalid with out fine restitution and judgement sentence for theft of property greater than or equal to $50 and less than $500.
• KEVIN GLENN CATE, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of driving while license invalid and municipal warrants for speeding/ 67 mph in a 50 mph zone (two counts), violate promise to appear, failure to maintain financial responsibility, driving while license invalid (two counts), failure to maintain financial responsibility and violate promise to appear.
• JOHN MICHAEL WILKINSON, 25, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a charge of theft of property greater than or equal to $500 and less than $1,500 (three counts).
• ALAN CATON POWELL, 38, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on charges of violate bond/protective order, assault/stalking, unlawful restraint, terroristic threat of family/household.
The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
•MEDICAL was reported in the 400 block of W. Fifth Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 600 block of W. I-20. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1200 block of Mulberry. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2700 block of Central. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 600 block of W. 16th Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 700 block of W. 15th Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
